‘Mad and totally unethical’: Dominic Cummings hits out at Boris Johnson
Boris Johnson must be bricking it!
Alexandra de pfeffle Johnson is a two bit self indulgent narcissist and Dominic cummings a nasty yet clever strategist on the lines of Steve Bannon. Now if Johnson has any intelligence he knows that Cummins is a serious and real threat. Cummins built the campaign to leave the EU and succeeded against all odds and common sense.
Calls for Boris Johnson’s resignation were circulating on social media this morning in the wake of an explosive blog penned by former Number 10 advisor Dominic Cummings.
The aide, who left Downing Street towards the end of last year, claimed he told the PM his plans to have donors “secretly pay” to revamp his official Downing Street flat were “unethical, foolish” and “possibly illegal”.
Boris Doesn’t “give a monkey’s” about legality
This does seem rich coming from the man who broke lock down and lied through his teeth in the rose garden with his bizarre Eye Test excuse! But does it really matter that Cummins has sown a seed that could unseat Johnson from his throne?
Alexander Boris De Pfefell Johnson like most etonians does not take light to being told NO, and this refusal by cummins did not bode well for their relationship.
In a post on his blog, Mr Cummings wrote: “The PM stopped speaking to me about this matter in 2020 as I told him I thought his plans to have donors secretly pay for the renovation were unethical, foolish, possibly illegal and almost certainly broke the rules on proper disclosure of political donations if conducted in the way he intended.
“I refused to help him organise these payments. My knowledge about them is therefore limited.
“I would be happy to tell the Cabinet Secretary or Electoral Commission what I know concerning this matter.”
In a furious outburst, Mr Cummings accused the Prime Minister of seeking to halt the investigation into the leak of plans for a second lockdown after he was warned a close friend of his fiancee Carrie Symonds could be implicated.
Such a damning intervention by the man who was Johnson’s key ally and ideological inspiration will deeply alarm the prime minister and his aides. Cummings is due to give evidence to MPs next month.
